"It's sad to say goodbye, but I'll burn them if I have to."
Gah, this wasn't exactly the funnest shoot. Almost burnt an eyebrow and some hair off. Ha. Thanks to my friend Melissa for running back and fourth to relight the book for me. Editing for this took about 5 hours because I kept getting confused on what I was actually going to do with this photo. But I settled on this and I actually like it.
I've got some editing to catch up on. I had three projects open in photoshop the other while editing this as well, but I was so tired that after I saved this, I just shut everything off without thinking. BUT oh well.
Also I just would like to be annoying really quick by saying that if you're a fan of my work, you should head over and "Like" my Facebook page. I'm 11 people away from 700 fans. Thank you! (:

The concept and overall shot are good, but personally I don't like the vignette that makes it dark at the edges.I also can't help thinking that it would be better if the background was a bit more compositionally dramatic - i.e. darker overall (rather than the vignette darkening both the foreground and background) and/or with less details that distract you from the wonderfully ochestrated foreground.
